Welcome to Broxburn Primary School Website
On our school website you will find lots of information about our School and our Early Learning Centre. We are very proud of our school and as a parent, carer, pupil or member of staff you are part of our 'Broxburn Primary Family'.
Our vision at Broxburn Primary is that by working together with a caring approach, children are inspired to achieve both now and in the future. We bring this alive through our value of care across all aspects of daily life within school, in order to get it right for our children. Our learners are enthusiastic, friendly and well behaved. Our staff are very hard working and totally committed to doing their best for every child in our school.
We embed genuine opportunities for 'Pupil Voice' and 'Pupil Leadership' within our school culture. Each child is a member of our Boosting Broxburn Groups to ensure learners engage meaningfully in school improvements. We have almost 500 children in our Early Learning Centre and in our 14 classes from P1 to P7. We also have small group setting and strong support across the school and ELC in order to meet the needs of our learners. We continually strive to further raise attainment across an exciting and engaging curriculum. We are very proud of our children's achievements as well as school achievements. We use our website and X (formally Twitter) to share our news and achievements with the wider community and further enhance communication.
At Broxburn Primary we enjoy superb school grounds with our Sensory Garden, Trim Trail, grassy hill, playgrounds and Multi Use Games Area (MUGA). We work closely with our school community to improve our outdoor spaces. Our school is very well resourced and enjoys good links with the local and wider community. We also have a very successful partnership with our Parent Council, which is open to all of our parents.
I hope that this website gives you a flavour of just how fantastic our school is. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions, or better still come and visit!
Kind Regards
Mrs Lisa Davies
